We're
awaiting some chicks from the hens. Here is a photo of
a brood we saw last August! We had about 25 chicks.
It is a very pretty rural scene as they all parade around with
their families. In Scotland the name for a broody hen
is a clocker or clucky after the noise the hens make as they
marshall their family around the place.
